Experience: We are looking for technicians who may be experienced in cable installations (Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber), cable terminations, and testing. Knowledge in CCTV, A/V, and paging would be an asset but not mandatory.
Additional Skills: Read blueprints; Work at heights or in confined spaces; Complete and maintain test and service records. Pays attention to security and safety.
Own Tools/Equipment: Tech MUST have his/her own tools and transportation; Steel-toed safety boots; Hard hat; Safety glasses/goggles.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Tight deadlines; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Ability to distinguish between colours; Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. This position may include long or irregular hours, weekend, and some travel.
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence; Own transportation; Willing to travel.
